Thinking of You

Thinking-of-You-Beyond-the-Garden

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set:  Just Thinking
  • Cardstock:  Beyond the Garden DSP, Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi
  • Ink:  Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi
  • Accessories:  Little Leaves Sizzlits, Window Frames Collection, Floral Fusion Sizzlits, Festive Paper-Piercing Pack

I love this stamp set and especially the shape of these framelits.  Unfortunately, I can not find again the card that inspired these – it was probably from our Stampin Up! demo website.

Thanks for looking.

Everything Eleanor Sympathy

Everything-Eleanor-Sympathy

Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets:  Everything Eleanor and Petite Pairs
  • Cardstock:  Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
  • Ink:  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
  • Accessories:  Finishing Touches Edgelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Little Leaves Sizzlits

I mainly bought the Everything Eleanor set for the coordinating image that goes with the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  But I’ve fallen in love with the flower that it comes with as well as the large flourish stamp.  I used the square lattice embossing folder on the first card on the leaves – not sure which one I like best.

Until next time.

Cutie Pie Pretty Petites

Cutie-Pie-Pretty-Petites

Supplies:

  • Stamp Sets:  Pretty Petites, Flower Fancy
  • Cardstock:  Cutie Pie DSP, Bashful Blue, So Saffron, Rose Red, Certainly Celery
  • Ink:  Rose Red, Certainly Celery Marker
  • Accessories:  Finishing Touches Edgelits, Petite Curly Label and scallop punches, Polka Dot Embossing Folder

I love this retired DSP.  I have a couple of packs of it, so thought it was time to use some of it.  After I took the picture, I thought the card on the left was missing something. So, I added a .75″ x 5.25″ strip of bashful blue that I ran through the big shot with a polka dot embossing folder.  I put it over the so saffron scallop so just the scallop was showing.  Looks a lot better I think – sorry no picture of the improvement.

Here are the measurements of the pieces:

  • Whisper White that the flower is stamped on is 2.25″ x 3.25″
  • Matted with Bashful Blue 2.5″ x 3.5″
  • Stripe DSP piece is 4″ x 1.5″ matted with Rose Red 4.25″ x 1.75″
  • (Right Card) Dotted So Saffron strip 7/8″ x 3.75 and Bashful Blue strip is about 1 3/8″ x 3.75″ after running the finishing edges edgelit.

You’re Amazing Birthday

Petals-&-Paisley-Bday Razzleberry-Bday

Supplies:

  • Stamp Set:  You’re Amazing
  • Cardstock:  Taken with Teal, Petals & Paisleys DSP – (2nd Card) Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
  • Ink:  Taken with Teal and Rich Razzleberry
  • Accessories:  Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack, Chevron Embossing Folder, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits, brads, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Square Punch (used to make the flag)

I had fun making these birthday cards.  I wanted to play with making the flag design with my square punch.  Each of the DSP strips were 1″ wide.  What’s great about this design of the flags being all different lengths is if your first attempt at making the flag comes out not centered, just try again.

Mosaic Madness

  • Cardstock:  Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush
  • Ink:  Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding

I really love the new Stampin Up! In Colors – so bright and cheery.  I cased this card from Dianne Sisneros here.  The ribbon I used was certainly celery – I thought it went ok with the new Pistachio Pudding.

Catalog Case Cottage Window

Cottage-Window-Mother's-Day

I was sad to see this stamp set retire so quickly.  When looking for inspiration, what is easier than using the catalog.  This card was pretty straight forward.  The card base is crumb cake, Lucky Limeade piece is 5″ x 3.75″, 3 white pieces are 1″ x 3.5″.  I used the texture jumbo wheel on the piece of pumpkin pie.

  • Cardstock:  Lucky Limeade, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, White
  • Accessories: Stripes Embossing Folder, Large Oval, Scallop Oval, Bitty Butterfly Punches, Beautiful Wings Embosslits
