When I have card designer block it’s a good time to turn to a one sheet wonder. I have a lot of retired designer series paper I need to use. I love this pattern that I made to use with note cards. These sets make a great gift too.
Supplies:
- Paper: Sarah DSP (retired), Brocade Blue (retired), So Saffron
- Stamp Sets: Curly Cute, Oval All, Pretty Petites, A Round Array, Teeny Tiny Wishes, A Fitting Occasion
- Accessories: Punches, Ribbon, Brads, Edgelits
To make the tote for the note cards, cut a piece of cardstock to 10 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, save the 3/4″ strip to use as the handle. Score 4″ on each short side, and 1 1/2″ on each long side. Use paper snips and cut from where the 1 1/2″ and 4″ cut intersect (4 cuts). Use sticky strip and fold the tote up. Hope all this makes sense.
Thanks for looking.
This surely will make a nice gift! Like your layout….is the template for cutting the 12 x 12 available somewhere?

The pattern is for a 6×6 piece of paper. Click on OSW on my blog side bar. The pattern for the 6×6 is there as well as a pattern for the mats using a 8.5 x 11. Thanks for looking.

I like the tote idea, but can’t figure out how it would open. Thanks.

I like the tote, but can’t seem to figure out how it is open on one side or how you put the cards in and out. Thanks.

The tote doesn’t open; however, the notecards do fit in. I just slip them in the opening between the handle and the tote.
