3 Card Alternatives Using One Card Base – March 2024 Paper Pumpkin

Hello everyone. Today, I am here to share my 1st alternative cards using the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit named Memorable Meadows. The card bases are so beautiful in this kit and they are double sided allowing for at least two card fronts. If you follow me you know I often make more than two. Today I will share how I cut the card base to make 3 card fronts.

I am a little later than normal getting started as I attended the Stampin’ Up Onstage event in Houston last weekend. I had such a good time, made some new friends, and got my hands on some goodies for the upcoming new annual catalog. I also got to preview the new in-colors for 2024-2026 as well as a new basic color Basic Beige. I share these in my video, so hop on over to by video linked below to see all the goodies. I also share the information about the April – June Paper Pumpkin kits.

Before I begin I have some information to share. I now have an online store you can shop from. Here is a link to it https://robincarter.stampinup.net/. I will update my host code in the specials tab as well as how to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin using me as your demonstrator.

If you missed my unboxing you can find it on my YouTube channel with the following link: https://youtu.be/XdO0zStghG8

The best way to see how I made these alternatives in in my YouTube Channel. Here is a link to the video. I full supply list is at the bottom of this post.

I started off with the card base that has mostly sky at the top. I cut it tall wise to 5 3/8.” Then I cut 3 pieces: 2 at 2 7/8″ leaving the 3rd piece 2 3/4. I then added scrap strips of Night of Navy to the left and right hand side of the card base pieces. Next, dry emboss with your embossing folder of choice a 5 3/8 x 1.5″ strip of basic white cardstock. Add both item to a thick basic white card base. To decorate the sky, I used one of my favorite stamp sets Courage & Faith on a label from Nested Essentials Dies. I will have a full product list at the bottom of this post. I am lucky to have a Brother Scan-N-Cut so I made a cut file for the leaves I attached on the side.
