I Love Making Samplers

I love making wall art from my Stampin’ Up products. Here are some I’ve made in the past.

Last week I made one for my Mom. She needed something decorative for a small wall. The colors in the room are blue (like Stampin’ Up Night of Navy). So I suggested I would make something for her. Below is the end result. It uses many different sets and dies. The postage stamp images look not quite centered on the Night of Navy, but in person they are centered. The finished piece is on 12×12 White cardstock and in a 12×12 shadow box frame.

So get out your products and think outside of cards and scrapbooking and make some beautiful wall art.

Snowman Soup

Just one more night to get ready for my peddler booth. This Snowman Soup is one of my favorites – I just think it is so cute!!!  These are a perfect little gift for stocking stuffers, co-workers, teachers, friends, neighbors – well, just about anyone.   The little blue packet that says “Snowmen Come Unassembled” are packs of mini marshmallows.  I’ve seen other packs on Splitcoaststampers.com  that make their own marshmallow packs, but I wanted everything pre-packaged.  I don’t like buying things to eat that others packaged themselves (unless I know them) so I didn’t feel right selling anything to eat that I had to touch or package myself.  Not that I’d have the health deptartement fine me or anything.  Plus the bag is super cute.  I copied the poem from someone on splitcoaststampers.com too, but I can’t find the link.  If you came up with this, let me know so I can give you credit.

Vendor Booth Gift Item

Less than 2 weeks to get everything ready for my vendor booth at the Taste of Christmas at FBC Lewisville.  These Hershey nugget sleeves are soooo cute.  I saw them on Inking Idaho’s website and just loved them.  I tried to think of a new way to “make them my own,” but couldn’t come up with anything better.  She is talented.  Anyway, I have about 45 of these.  More creations to come next week.
