3rd Set of Alternatives for March 2024 Paper Pumpkin – Memorable Meadows

Hello everyone. Today I am sharing my 3rd set of alternative cards made using the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit Memorable Meadows. I had one last card base to work with from the kit. Since I have created so many cards over the last several months making alternatives with Paper Pumpkin kits, I choose to just cut the last base in half.

I will have a complete supply list at the bottom of this post. As I mentioned in my last post, I now have an online store you can shop from 24/7. Here is a link to it https://robincarter.stampinup.net/. I will update my host code in the specials tab. I also have the link to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin using me as your demonstrator in the specials tab as well. I also have a new Etsy shop that I will be adding finished cards and card related items to. I just opened it yesterday, so it will take me a while to take pictures and create set that I can add to my store. Here is the link to it: https://robinscreationsstore.etsy.com

3rd Set of Alternatives #RobinsCreations

As I mentioned above, I first started by cutting the beautiful card base with the lovely trees in half. Then to give the scene a little more pop, I cut out the center of both sides using the 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I matted the cutout with Night of Navy cardstock measuring 4 7/8 x 3.75.”

For the top card, I used the Garden Meadow bundle that coordinates with this months kit. I stamped, colored, and die cut a wheel barrow. I then stamped some birds in the sky using a past paper pumpkin kit from March 2021 named Here’s To You. I added the outside card base piece using multipurpose liquid glue and then the center using dimensionals. I then added the wheelbarrow and the sentiment using liquid glue.

For the bottom card I did the same cutouts of the left side like I did on the right. To fill in the sky area of this card, I brought in the Seasonal Branches bundle. I love how they have dies to go with just about every stamp as well as other stand alone detailed dies. I created the leaf branch using Mossy Meadow Ink for the leaves, Early Espresso for the branch, and a Old Olive watercolor pencil with a blender pen to color in the leaves. The bird also comes in this set, that I colored like a Robin bird. I felt it still needed some more elements so I brought in the fence from the Garden Meadow dies. Be sure and use adhesive sheets when using the fence dies. It sure makes adhering the fence to the card much easier.

3 Card Alternatives Using One Card Base – March 2024 Paper Pumpkin

Hello everyone. Today, I am here to share my 1st alternative cards using the March 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit named Memorable Meadows. The card bases are so beautiful in this kit and they are double sided allowing for at least two card fronts. If you follow me you know I often make more than two. Today I will share how I cut the card base to make 3 card fronts.

I am a little later than normal getting started as I attended the Stampin’ Up Onstage event in Houston last weekend. I had such a good time, made some new friends, and got my hands on some goodies for the upcoming new annual catalog. I also got to preview the new in-colors for 2024-2026 as well as a new basic color Basic Beige. I share these in my video, so hop on over to by video linked below to see all the goodies. I also share the information about the April – June Paper Pumpkin kits.

Before I begin I have some information to share. I now have an online store you can shop from. Here is a link to it https://robincarter.stampinup.net/. I will update my host code in the specials tab as well as how to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin using me as your demonstrator.

I started off with the card base that has mostly sky at the top. I cut it tall wise to 5 3/8.” Then I cut 3 pieces: 2 at 2 7/8″ leaving the 3rd piece 2 3/4. I then added scrap strips of Night of Navy to the left and right hand side of the card base pieces. Next, dry emboss with your embossing folder of choice a 5 3/8 x 1.5″ strip of basic white cardstock. Add both item to a thick basic white card base. To decorate the sky, I used one of my favorite stamp sets Courage & Faith on a label from Nested Essentials Dies. I will have a full product list at the bottom of this post. I am lucky to have a Brother Scan-N-Cut so I made a cut file for the leaves I attached on the side.
